Men’s Squash Falls to Columbia in Hoehn Cup Finals

The No. 10 Big Green dropped a match to No. 9 Columbia, 6-3

HARTFORD, Conn. — The Dartmouth men's squash team fell to Columbia in the final round of the CSA National Collegiate Men's Team Championships. The No. 10 Big Green dropped their second match of the year to the No. 9 Lions by a score of 6-3 to close the 2022-23 season.

Mac Aube secured a four-set victory against Chaitanya Shah at position No. 2. Aube stopped Shah's comeback in its tracks after conceded the third set to Columbia's representative, winning the fourth frame, 11-6, to clinch the point for the Big Green.

Quintin Campbell picked up the only sweep for either team at position No. 5. Campbell knocked off Franklyn Smith in straight sets to earn a 3-0 win for Dartmouth.

Felix Feldman picked up his second-straight win of the weekend, defeating Jacob Bulbulia at the seventh position. After falling behind 2-0 in close sets, Feldman rattled off three straight set wins by scores of 11-4, 11-5 and 11-5.

The Big Green did not allow a single sweep to the Lions for the first time since 2019. Dartmouth finishes the 2022-23 campaign with a record of 8-9.
