Dartmouth Suffers Road Loss at USC

Zhou and Dewire won their fifth straight doubles match despite the 4-0 loss
LOS ANGELES — Opening a four-match road trip in the Golden State, Dartmouth dropped a 4-0 decision to No. 42 USC Saturday afternoon at David X. Marks Stadium.
The Emily Zhou/Lexi Dewire duo picked up the Big Green's lone victory on Court 3 in doubles action, improving their record to 6-1 and notching their fifth straight win. Brooke Hess and Katie Weber battled on Court 2, but USC was able to come away with a 7-5 decision to clinch the doubles point before rolling through singles, eventually sealing the 4-0 triumph at the No. 3 position.
Ashley Hess, Ujvala Jupalli and Katie Weber each saw their matches go unfinished after McKenna Koenig clinched the 4-0 win for the Trojans.
Dartmouth continues its California slate on Sunday, March 19, facing San Francisco in La Jolla at 12:30 p.m.
