KINGSTON, N.Y. — The Dartmouth men's golf team took part in the ROAR-EE Invitational event, hosted by Columbia in Kingston, New York. The Big Green tied for ninth in a field of 12 teams following the first round. The second and final round of the event was nearing its end, but severe weather at the Wiltwyck Golf Club caused it to be canceled.

Eli Kimche,
Cameron Keith,
Alex Gu and
Charles Petrie represented the Big Green at the event, while
Aaron Zhang competed as an individual. Dartmouth finished the day at 6-over par, with two of its golfers shooting under par.
Senior co-captain Turner was stellar once again, finishing the event tied for third place in a field of 69 participants. He shot 4-under 68 during the first round of the competition in which he recorded six birdies, including four straight between the 12
th and 15
th holes. Turner was in sole possession of second place when the event was called off due to inclement weather.
Kimche shot 1-under par, which tied him for 17
th in a very competitive field. The sophomore was consistent throughout the opening round after a pair of boogeys in the first three holes. Kimche recovered from his slow start, recording 11 pars and three birdies to close out the round.
Gu closed the first 18 holes at 5-over par. He recorded pars on every hole in the back nine, but inconsistency plagued the junior on the front nine holes. Gu was followed closely by co-captain Petrie, who finished the day one stroke behind his teammate. Keith rounded out Dartmouth's team score at 7-over par, while Zhang closed his day with a score of 80.
Holy Cross claimed the best team score of the day, closing the event at 7-under par. A pair of Ivy League teams, Penn and Cornell, followed closely behind the Crusaders, as both teams finished the event at 6-under par.
