DEDHAM, Mass. — Julia Reglewski won the New England Championship in the shot put on Saturday as the Dartmouth women's track and field team competed in two events at the New England Championships at Northeastern University. The Big Green also sent a group of athletes down to New Haven for Yale's Last Chance Meet.

Reglewski won the event with a throw of 14.65m, coming on the third attempt. She also finished fifth in the discus with a throw of 45.49m.

Down at Yale, the Big Green posted several strong showings.

Katherine Strong won the 3000m steeplechase with a personal best time of 10:29.31, the fifth-best time in program history.

Bella Pietrasiewicz finished second in the 800m race with a PR of 2:09.02.

Julia Fenerty and
Anya Hirschfeld both posted PRs and top 10 program marks in the 1500m race. Fenerty won the event with a time of 4:16.41, fifth all-time in program history, and Hirschfeld finished third with a time of 4:18.75, the seventh best time.

In the final race of the night,
Emma Kerimo finished fifth in the 5000m run with a PR of 16:39.26.
Madeleine Locher ran a season best time of 16:44.51, taking seventh.
Steph Finley finished 10
th in the event with a time f 17:06.62.

Notes: Reglewski has now the outdoor New England Championship in shot put for the second-straight year having won the event in 2022 as a freshman.
