JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Dartmouth men's track and field team competed at the NCAA East Regional Prelim on Wednesday at the Jax Track at Hodges Stadium on the campus of the University of North Florida.
After a lightning delay pushed back the start of the day, the Big Green got underway Wednesday morning with the hammer throw.
Jake Dalton led the way for Dartmouth, placing 26
th in the event with a throw of 61.32m on his final attempt.
Ben Pable took 35
th with a mark of 59.39m on his third throw.
Michael Gabriel had a throw of 55.74m on his second attempt to claim 41
st.
Freshman
Max Klein competed in the shot put, taking 30
th with a throw of 17.79m on his final attempt.
Nils Wildberg took part in the long jump, finishing in 21
st with a mark of 7.39m on his second jump.
J'Voughnn Blake, competing in Heat 6 of the 800m race, finished sixth in the heat with a time of 1:51.21.
This concludes the season for the Big Green men's track and field team.
