HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth sailing team punched its ticket to the final day of the Intercollegiate Sailing Association Open Team Race National Championship regatta. The Big Green finished round one with a 10-5 record, securing its fifth-place finish in the opening round and a spot in the round of eight.

Dartmouth compiled a record of 4-3 on the day, securing wins over Brown, Tufts, Purdue and Navy. The Big Green are joined in the round of eight by undefeated Stanford, Ivy League opponents Harvard, Yale and Brown, Roger Williams, Coast Guard and St. Mary's.

The Big Green look to secure a national championship tomorrow in Kings Point, New York. Dartmouth will open the round of eight with the first race of the day against Roger Williams. The Big Green will look to open Memorial Day Monday with another win over the Hawks, as Dartmouth defeated Roger Williams in the round of 16, 1-4-5.
