Eight from Men’s Hockey Attend NHL Development Camps

HANOVER, N.H. – Eight members of the Dartmouth men's hockey team attended NHL development camps during the first week of July with eight different franchises. Seven student-athletes will compete while one member of the Big Green coaching staff will be serving as a coach. Several teams opened camp over the weekend and will continue throughout the week.

Rising senior Joey Musa (Columbus Blue Jackets), rising juniors Sean Chisholm (New York Rangers) and Ian Pierce (Washington Capitals), and rising sophomores Cooper Black (Colorado Avalanche, Florida Panthers) and Luke Haymes (Toronto Maple Leafs) will take part in camps as non-drafted free agent invites. Rising junior John Fusco, a 2020 NHL draft selection for Toronto, attended camp for the Maple Leafs. Rising sophomore Cooper Flinton, 2021 draft pick of Tampa Bay, will be with the Lightning for camp. Additionally, assistant coach Troy Thibodeau is in New York as a camp coach for the Buffalo Sabres.
