HANOVER, N.H. —
Milana Socha, Dartmouth's head men's and women's swimming and diving coach, has announced the 2023-24 schedule for both programs. The season begins Saturday, Nov. 4 at Brown and the Big Green host three meets in January.
"It will be exciting to get the season underway as we've got a great lineup to set our swimmers and divers up for success in competition and at the end of the season," Socha said. "We should have some close scoring meets this season and that challenge is what we are looking for."
Dartmouth squares off with Brown and Princeton in Providence, Rhode Island on Saturday, Nov. 4 and have another road Ivy League tri-meet in Cambridge, Massachusetts the following Saturday (Nov. 11) against Cornell and Harvard. The Big Green head to Ohio for the Miami Invitational for a second straight year (Nov. 30-Dec. 2) before traveling to Biscayne Bay, Florida for the CSCAA Open Water Nationals as part of their winter training trip.
Karl Michael Pool plays host for the first time in 2023-24 when Bates visits for a dual meet Saturday, Jan. 6 and Ivy League action returns on Saturday, Jan. 13 when Dartmouth welcomes Penn and Yale. The Big Green host the annual two-day Tate Ramsden Invitational beginning Friday, Jan. 19 to cap off the homestand.
The women's team visits Columbia on Saturday, Jan. 27 and the men make the trip to New York the following week (Feb. 3) to complete the regular season Ancient Eight slate. The Boston Open Invitational (Feb. 9-10) is a prelude to Ivy League Championship season, which begins with the women's meet, hosted by Brown, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 21. The men's championship will be hosted by Harvard and begins Wednesday, Feb. 28.
NCAA Diving Zone Championships begin Monday, March 11 at Princeton and additional chances for postseason action include the CSCAA National Invitational Championships and the men's and women's NCAA National Championships.
