THIS WEEKEND'S GAMES
Following a 6-1 season-opening win over Stonehill, the Dartmouth field hockey team remains home for two games this weekend, hosting Quinnipiac on Friday (3 p.m.) and Merrimack on Sunday (12 p.m.). Both games can be seen on ESPN+. This weekend will be the final tune-ups before next Friday's Ivy League opener at Harvard.

WITH A WIN...
- The Big Green would be 2-0 for the first time since the 2011 season.
- (With a 1-1 weekend) Dartmouth would be 2-1 for the first time since 2011.
- (With two wins this weekend) Dartmouth would be 3-0 for the first time since 2010.

SUNDAY PROMOTIONS
Sunday's game vs. Merrimack is Youth Day, with a postgame autograph session following the contest. Everyone will receive a Dartmouth Field Hockey schedule poster that will be signed by the team. The first 50 students on Sunday will also receive a Big Green friendship bracelet.

ALL-TIME VS. QUINNIPIAC
Dartmouth leads the all-time series with Quinnipiac, 2-1. Most recently, the Bobcats beat the Big Green in Maine via a 4-1 final. Dartmouth won the first-ever meeting on Nov. 13, 1999 in the ECAC Tournament, also 4-1, before winning the year after in 2000, 6-0.

SCOUTING QUINNIPIAC
Quinnipiac is 0-2 entering the weekend, falling at New Hampshire (4-3) and home vs. UMass (2-1). Emilia Massarelli leads the team in goals (3) and points (6), all three goals happening in the season opener at UNH. Stella Tegtmeier leads the Bobcats in assists (3). Cristina Torres has played every minute in goal, tallying a 2.77 goals against average and 75.0 save percentage. The Bobcats finished last season 8-11 and 2-5 in the Big East.

ALL-TIME VS. MERRIMACK
Dartmouth is 2-0 all-time against Merrimack, winning 4-1 in 2019 and 2-1 last year. In last season's meeting, the goals were scored by

SCOUTING MERRIMACK
Merrimack enters a Friday matchup at Bryant 0-3, falling at Hofstra (8-0), UMass Lowell (9-0) and Northeastern (5-1). Julie Wester scored the Warriors' goal, assisted by Paige Degeorge. Brooke Bolduc has started every game in goal, tallying a 6.91 goals against average and 57.8 save percentage. The Warriors finished last season 1-16 and 1-6 in the NEC, beating Sacred Heart at home, 2-1.

STONEHILL GAME NOTES
- Dartmouth's six goals marked its most since scoring seven against Bryant on Sept. 10, 2017.

Riley Dumigan each tallied their first collegiate goals. Freshman Lucia Campaño recorded her first-career assist on Dumigan's goal.

- The Big Green scored three goals in the fourth quarter, their most goals in a quarter since scoring three in the first last Sept. 9 vs. Northeastern, a 4-3 Dartmouth victory.

LAST SEASON
Despite finishing 0-7 in Ivy League play last season, there were a number of highlights. Dartmouth lost its last five league games by a single goal, including 1-0 and 3-2 defeats to nationally-ranked Princeton and Harvard, respectively. The other defeats were by just two goals. The margin in Ivy play of minus-9 was 12 goals better than the year prior — when the Big Green were outscored by 21.

Early last season, Dartmouth posted a three-game winning streak, good for the program's first winning streak since 2017. The Big Green beat Northeastern (for the first time since 1987), Sacred Heart and Merrimack to improve to 3-3 on the young campaign.
