BACK IN THE NORTHEAST
Dartmouth returns to the northeast following a season opening trip to California last weekend. The Big Green play its first home match of the season against Holy Cross this Saturday before heading south for a tilt against UMass on Tuesday.
LAST TIME OUT
Dartmouth opened the 2023 season last weekend with a pair of matchups against the Saint Mary's Gaels in Moraga, California, and the Cal Golden Bears in Berkeley, California.
Freshman
Vasilis Moiras scored the first goal of his collegiate career in Dartmouth's meeting with Saint Mary's, but the Big Green fell to the Gaels by a score of 2-1. The Big Green fell to the Golden Bears, 4-0, to close out their time in the Golden State.
KICKIN' OFF AT HOME
Burnham Field was friendly to Dartmouth in 2022, as the Big Green compiled a record of 5-3 in Hanover. Dartmouth also collected wins in five of its last six matchups at home, including Ivy League victories over Yale, Columbia and Brown.

Bo Oshoniyi last led Dartmouth to a win in its first match at Burnham Field on Sept. 10, 2019. The Big Green knocked off UMass by a score of 1-0 to kick off the season in Hanover.
LAST YEAR AT HOME
The Big Green were effective on both sides of the ball at home in 2022. Dartmouth outscored opponents 17-8 over its eight-game slate at Burnham Field.
Dartmouth recorded 62 shots at home, compared to 40 from opposing teams last season. Goalkeeper
Costi Christodoulou finished the season with a save percentage of .794 and a goals against average of .97 at Burnham Field a year ago.
SCOUTING HOLY CROSS
Holy Cross enters Saturday's match with a record of 1-2-1 in its first four matches of 2023. The Crusaders' lone win of the year to this point came on Friday, Sept. 1 at home against Sacred Heart.
The Crusaders' lone road game of the season came against UConn on Aug. 27. Holy Cross was unable to hold off the Huskies, dropping a 4-0 decision. The Crusaders have been outscored 9-2 in its first four contents.
Last season, the Crusaders finished with a 5-9-4 record, including a 1-5-3 record in Patriot League games.
The Big Green hold a 6-0-4 record against Holy Cross in a series which dates to 2002. The last meeting between the teams took place last season, as the Big Green and Crusaders battled to a scoreless draw on Oct. 4, 2022.
SCOUTING UMASS
The UMass Minutemen enter the weekend with a 2-1-1 record and are set to take on Providence on the road prior to facing the Big Green.
UMass is 1-1 against Ivy League opponents so far this season. The Minutemen dropped a 3-1 decision to Brown on Sept. 1 before knocking off Yale by a score of 3-0 in its last match.
Last season, UMass finished the season with a 7-4-7 record and a 2-1-5 mark in Atlantic 10 contests.
Dartmouth leads the all-time series between the programs with a record of 27-8-4 since the start of the series in 1933. UMass has won the last two matchups, including one last season in Hanover by a score of 3-1.
