STOWE, VT. — For a second straight day, the Vermont Carnival has been postponed. Friday's slalom was affected first then on Saturday, the giant slalom was postponed due to fog and inconsistent surface conditions. This weekend was the continuation of the Vermont Carnival earlier this month, which was also affected by weather.

The UVM Carnival is now closed, with the Big Green victorious. They held 490 points after the Nordic events earlier this month, more than 100 points ahead of Middlebury in second.

Friday's slalom turned into an NCAA Qualifier event next Sunday, Feb. 4. The giant slalom is expected to be made up as an NCAA Qualifier at a later date.
