The winter season is in full swing for the Big Green and the athletes wearing the green and white are excelling in their chosen sport. On the ice junior Ian Pierce led the men's hockey team to a win over the Catamounts of the University of Vermont. Across the street in Leverone Field House the men's and women's track and field teams hosted the 34th edition of the Dartmouth Relays. For the second-straight week senior Chloe Taylor vaulted to victory in the pole vault, setting a personal best mark.
Â
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the week.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes - one male, one female - as Athletes of the Week. Student-athletes may be chosen based upon their efforts both on and off the field of competition.
