HANOVER, N.H. – The Big Green Nordic and Alpine ski programs are gearing up for an exciting 2024-25 season, highlighted by hosting the NCAA Championship in March.

Before the Big Green can host the championship, they will compete in six Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) carnivals.

The Dartmouth ski team will open their EISA competition at Bates on January 10 and 11. The Nordic skiers will race a classic sprint and 15K freestyle mass start at Rumford while the Alpine skiers will compete in the giant slalom on day one and the slalom on day two at Sunday River.

The following weekend, the Big Green will be back on the slopes at St. Lawrence competing at Mt. Van Hovenberg and Whiteface. The Nordic skiers will race the 20K freestyle mass start and the 7.5K classic interval.

The Big Green will wrap January and kick off February at St. Michael's racing the 10K Freestyle Interval start and the 3x5 classic relay at Sleepy Hollow. The Alpine skiers will again race in the giant slalom and slalom.

The following weekend, the Nordic and alpine teams will host the Dartmouth Carnival, racing the 7.5K Classic and the 20K Freestyle mass start on the Nordic side, hosting the giant slalom and the slalom at the Dartmouth Skiway.

On Valentine's Day, Dartmouth will head to Middlebury for the freestyle sprint and 10K classic interval. At the Middlebury Snowbowl, the alpine skiers will race the slalom first and then the giant slalom, the only time during the 2024-25 season the slalom will be raced first.

In the final carnival of the regular season, the Big Green will head to UNH for the NCAA Regionals, competing in the 7.5K classic interval and the 15K mass start, as well as the giant slalom and slalom.

The Big Green will host this year's NCAA Championship at Oak Hill and the Dartmouth Skiway from March 5 through March 8. Nordic events will take place the sixth and eighth while alpine events will kick off championship weekend on the fifth, also being competed on the eighth.
