HANOVER, N.H. -
Mike Nelson, the Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country, has announced the 2024-25 indoor track and field schedule. The campaign is highlighted by four days of home action in Leverone Field House.
"We're excited to announce our 2024-2025 indoor track & field schedule. It is our belief that this series of meets will provide elite level competition for our student-athletes. There are several excellent opportunities to perform at the highest level throughout the regular season as we chase post-season success at the Ivy League championships and beyond. Go Big Green!" said Nelson.
The season kicks off at with two meets happening on Saturday, Dec. 7. The first is hosted by Harvard for the Ivy vs. HBCU Challenge. The Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener hosted by Boston University will also be taking place for the opening of the season.
The next weekend on Friday Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14, the Big Green host the Dartmouth December Invite in Leverone. On Saturday, Jan. 11, the Big Green host Ivy League action in the Dartmouth Relays and Saturday, January 18, Yale and Columbia pay a visit to Hanover for the D-Y-C.
Friday Jan. 24 and Saturday Jan. 25 finds Dartmouth at The Track at New Balance in Boston for the Riverhawk Invitational hosted by UMass Lowell. The next weekend, the Big Green travel to Boston University for the John Thomas Terrier Classic on Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1.
On Friday, Feb. 7, Harvard hosts Dartmouth for the Crimson Elite. The Showdown at The Heights is next on the slate on Saturday, Feb. 8 hosted by Boston College taking place at The Track at New Balance. Friday, Feb. 15 and Saturday Feb. 15 brings the Big Green to the David Hemery Valentine Invite hosted by Boston University.
Friday, Feb. 21 Dartmouth travels back to Boston University for the Terrier DMR Challenge. Saturday, Feb. 22 shows more Ivy League action when the Big Green visit the Brown Invitational.
The Ivy League Championships are slated for Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 hosted by Cornell. The NCAA Indoor Championships follow that in Virginia Beach on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15.
