Chisholm and J. Fusco Earn ECAC Monthly Awards

DANBURY, Conn.—ECAC Hockey announced on Thursday its monthly awards for November. Dartmouth forward Sean Chisholm has been named ECAC Hockey Forward of the Month while Dartmouth d-man John Fusco has been named ECAC Hockey Ironhead Defender of the Month.

Chisholm started his senior year strong by putting up six goals and five assists through seven games. The senior captain has accumulated a +4 rating while also winning a team high 85 faceoffs. He tallied a point in six of the seven games in November while have multiple points in four of the six games. Against No. 4 Boston College he played a part in each of the three Big Green goals as he notched a pair of assists while also scoring the third Dartmouth goal, it was his third three point of his career.

J. Fusco has also started his senior season strong as he had three goals and three assists in the month of November. He blocked six shots in the opening month while also having a +3 rating. The defensemen notched his first two points on the season against Stonehill in which he had a goal and an assist. The Westwood, Mass native has tallied at least a point in six games this season. So far this season he has four goals and three assists, three of his four goals have been game winning goals.

The Big Green are back in action this weekend with a pair of games at Thompson Arena. On Friday night, the Big Green host St. Lawrence starting at 7 p.m., fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears for a teddy bear toss following the first Dartmouth goal. All teddy bears will be donated to local fire stations. On Saturday, No. 20 Clarkson travels to Hanover. Dartmouth is collecting new toys for local children in its annual toy drive.
