HANOVER, N.H. - Senior
Ellie Burke of the women's squash team was elected to the Ivy League's Academic All-Ivy Team, one of seven students to receive the honor per the league's announcement Thursday.

Academic All-Ivy honors are given to student-athletes who positively impact their sport and remain in good academic standing.

Burke, who also serves as a captain for the women's squash team, is a government major and has played in all but one match for the Big Green this season. She consistently played at the fifth position, winning three matches including the home opener against Bowdoin and the season finale against Middlebury. In her sole match played at the fourth position, Burke was able to tally the victory for the Big Green.

Burke will close her senior season when the Big Green travel for the CSA National Team Championship to play for the Howe Cup in two weeks. The Big Green's opponent in the first round of the tournament is still to be determined.
