Track and Field – Thursday, March 28 – Saturday, March 30
After completing the indoor season, the outdoor season gets underway as Dartmouth competes for the first time in nearly a month. The Big Green are in Raleigh, North Carolina competing in the Raleigh Relays. They are also taking part in the UConn Dog Fight that is set for Saturday, March 30 in Storrs, Connecticut.
Rugby - Friday, March 29-30
The 7s season begins at Tropical 7s on Friday and Saturday. Last season's 7s campaign was decorated by a pair of Ivy 7s championships, and the Big Green will look to build on a 15s season that sent them to their third straight NIRA Championship appearance. Asialeata Meni and Cindy Taulava were recently announced as nominees for the MA Sorensen Award, which is presented to the top women's collegiate rugby player in the nation.
Men's Golf – Saturday, March 30
The men's golf team heads to Hobe Sound, Florida to face Ivy League rival Cornell. The Big Green most recently finished the ECU Intercollegiate in fifth place out of 15 teams, with both Tyler Brand and Alex Gu finishing in the top 10. This will be Dartmouth's third to last weekend of competition before the Ivy League Championship beginning April 19.
Men's Heavyweight Rowing – Saturday, March 30
The men's heavyweight rowing team begins its spring season on Saturday against Columbia in Leonia, New Jersey at Overpeck Park. The Big Green enjoyed a strong fall, which included winning two medals at the prestigious Head of the Charles. Dartmouth is ranked 10th in the IRA/IRCA Men's Heavyweight Varsity 8 Preseason Poll. As a team, the Big Green finished last season's IRA National Championship in seventh place.
Men's Lacrosse – Saturday, March 30
The Dartmouth men's lacrosse team hits the road on Saturday for the first time in Ivy League play when the Big Green play at No. 13 Princeton. Opening faceoff is set for 12 p.m. on ESPN+. Most recently, Dartmouth dropped a tight 11-8 final against 13th-ranked Penn. The Big Green took an early 5-3 second-quarter lead and the score was tied 6-6 at the half, but the Quakers pulled away in the third quarter.
Men's Lightweight Rowing – Saturday, March 30
The Big Green will open their spring season at the National Collegiate Lightweight Invitational, which features seven total schools competing: Dartmouth, Columbia, Mercyhurst, Penn, Princeton, MIT, and Gordon College. Dartmouth will be facing Penn in the morning and Princeton in the afternoon. The Big Green Varsity 8 was ranked sixth in the Men's Lightweight 8 Poll, with Princeton coming in at No. 3 and Penn at No. 4. Last season, Dartmouth's Varsity 8 petite final win at Eastern Sprints qualified the entire team for the IRA National Championship for the first time since 2014.
Men's Tennis - Saturday, March 30
The Big Green make the trip to Harvard on Saturday to open Ivy League play, looking to snap a four-game losing streak. Miles Groom has been a standout performer in singles with an 11-3 record, mainly playing at the No. 4 position. Carlos Guerrero Alvarez has handled No. 1 duties for the most part, aside from a few appearances from Henry Ren atop the lineup. Next weekend, the Big Green are back home for the first time in over a month to host Brown on Friday, April 5.
Women's Lacrosse – Saturday, March 30
Coming off a 19-8 win over New Hampshire on Wednesday, the Big Green head back into Ivy League action when they travel to take on Harvard. The first draw is set for 4 p.m. and will be streamed on ESPN+. You can read the full preview on the website on Friday.
Baseball – Saturday, March 30 & Sunday, March 31
Following a 4-3 record on their West Coast trip and their first Ivy League series win of the season over Yale, the Big Green will strive to add more wins to their record and reach .500 on the season when they travel to Cornell. The Big Green and Big Red will play a doubleheader on Saturday before wrapping up the series at noon on Sunday. You can read the full preview here.
Open & Women's Sailing – Saturday, March 30 & Sunday, March 31
The Big Green sailing team will return to the water this weekend, racing in three regattas for on the third weekend of the spring season. Dartmouth will race in the Marchiando Team Race hosted by Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Dellenbaugh Women's Team Race hosted by Brown, and the Tufts University Jumbo Team Race. The Big Green collected two fourth place finishes and a third-place finish at last weekend's regattas.
Softball - Saturday, March 30-31
Hosting Ivy League action for the first time this season, the Big Green are home again to square off with Yale in a three-game series. Dartmouth recently lost to Boston College in the home opener despite Alaana Panu's late home run. The full preview will be released on Friday.
