Big Green start the outdoor season strong

RALEIGH, N.C. – On the final day of the Raleigh Relays, the men's track and field team competes in two events.

Triple jump
Coming in at 16^th place, Rahul Batlanki jumped 14.15m (46-5 ¼) on his second attempt.
Roy Leibovits jumped 14.13m (46-4 ¼) on his first attempt to finish 18^th.

Discus Throw
Throwing 48.09m (157-9) on his third attempt, Colton McMaster finished 14^th place.

STORRS, CONN. – At the UConn Dog Fight, the Big Green finished 6^th with 77 points.

100m
In 2^nd place, Bryce Thomas ran a time of 10.51 to tally eight points.

110m Hurdles
Coming in at 13^th place and 14^th place, Ethan Hughes ran a time of 16.23 and Jack Intihar ran a 16.27.

200m
Placing 1^st, Bryce Thomas ran a 21.44 to notch 10 points for the Big Green. Teammate Liam Murray ran a 22.85 coming in 23^rd place.

400m
Adrien Jacobs came in 1^st place after running a personal best with a time of 48.16, tallying 10 points. Mason Childers also ran a personal best of 49.52, getting five points to come in 4^th place. In 6^th place, Liam Murray ran a 50.24, collecting three points.

800m
In 8^th place, Joaquin Deprez ran a 1:59.95 tallying a point.

1500m
Sitting in 5^th place, Ashton Bange collected four points with a time of 3:59.29. In
6^th place, Baker Pashea ran a personal best of 3:59.71 notching three points for Dartmouth. Alex Craig ran a 4:14.79, placing 23^rd.

3000m Steeple
Finishing in 3^rd place, Jason Norris ran a 10:03.75, tallying six points.

5k
In 2^nd place, Patrick Dowd ran a 14:41.21 for eight team points. In 7^th place, Evan Bork finished with a 15:12.45 to earn four points.

Discus throw
Placing 10^th, Yomi Babalola threw a 44.48m (145-11). Jack Intihar finished in 20^th with a throw of 37.54m (123-02) and David Walker placed 23^rd with a mark of 30.97m (101-07).

Hammer
Yomi Babalola came in 19^th place with a toss of 37.02m (121-05).

Javelin
In 9^th place, Ethan Hughes threw 46.05m (151-01). Intihar finished 12^th place throwing a personal best of 43.99m (144-04).

Pole Vault
In 4^th place, Samuel Starrs cleared a height of 4.70m (15-05.00).

Shot put
Throwing a personal best of 13.24m (43-05.25) Yomi Babalola placed 15^th overall.

4x400 relay
Coming in at 1^st with a time of 3:16.61, Jacobs, Thomas, Childers, and Intihar tallied 10 more points for the Big Green.
