PRINCETON, N.J. — Despite earning the doubles point over No. 44 Princeton, the Big Green were unable to come away with a victory on Saturday afternoon, eventually falling 4-2 to the Tigers.
First-years
Peyton Capuano and
Michela Moore rolled to a 6-1 victory at No. 2 doubles before
Lexi Dewire and
Elizabeth Fahrmeier sealed the Big Green's 1-0 lead with a narrow triumph on Court 1.
Princeton responded by winning four of the five finished singles matches, with the lone Dartmouth victory coming from
Michela Moore on Court 2. Moore defeated Leena Bennetto for her second straight victory, having previously defeated Cornell's Michelle Ryndin in three-setter during Dartmouth's 4-1 win last Sunday.
Next up for the Big Green is a Penn, who they've already defeated this season (4-3 during the ECAC Championship).
