Durham, N.H – Ben Pable set a new school record in the men's hammer throw on Friday afternoon at the UNH Pre-Conference Invitational. The Big Green are off to a great start for the weekend.
The Big Green competed in only one event today in the hammer throw. Competing in the event were
Ben Pable,
Michael Gabriel,
Colton McMaster, and
David Walker.
Placing first and setting a new school record was Pable who threw a mark of 66.78m (219-1). Pable won the event throwing nearly three meters more than the other competitors.
Gabriel finished fourth with a mark of 58.82m (192-11).
Finishing sixth, McMaster threw 57.45m (188-6).
Walker threw 44.06m (144-6) to take twelfth.
Dartmouth is back in action tomorrow for the final day of the UNH Pre-Conference Invitational.
