Ben Williams who ran 25:51.40 and placed fourth.Â

"The men put on another pretty good performance," said Ben True '08 the Interim Cross Country/Distance Coach.

"The goal was to work into the race and have a really strong finish.
Ben Williams led the charge, and he moved up very well in the last 2k of the race. We were able to put a bunch of runners right there near the front, just MIT had a few more in front of us. But it was a good performance from everybody."

"Today I thought our athletes competed really well and I'm happy for their efforts," said Mike Nelson the Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country.Â

"It was a beautiful day and that always makes things a bit easier for everyone involved but a beautiful course, a beautiful day, and solid competition. I hope in the years to come we can make this a bigger meet and have an alumni gathering here in Hanover. I think all the pieces are in place for this course to be amazing and be one of the best in the Northeast."
