BOSTON — The Dartmouth men's cross country team impressed in the Codfish Bowl on Saturday, with first-year
Connor Foley winning the race to pace the Big Green, who had four of the top eight and six of the top 17 finishers on the day. Each of Dartmouth's top five finishers on Saturday were first-years.
"A small squad of the men's and women's team braved the cold and rain today at Franklin Park in true cross-country style," said Interim Cross Country/Distance Coach Ben True '08. "Ellie Tymorek led a Dartmouth podium sweep with Esme Daplyn in second and Claire McDonald in third.
Connor Foley won the men's 8k in his first college race."
Foley finished the 8K in 25:48.8. David Jian was fifth overall (26:05.1), with
Max Miller in seventh (26:14.4) and
Noe Kemper in eighth (26:18.5).
Another first-year,
