Hanover, N.H - Jada Jones and Liam Murray's performances in the 500m shined during the 54th annual Dartmouth Relays at Leverone Field House on Saturday.
Jones earned the fourth best 500m in program history with her 01:13.87 victory. Murray also etched himself into the Dartmouth record books with his 01:03.73 win, ranking sixth all-time.
"I thought our student-athletes competed well today at the Dartmouth Relays. Getting the chance to compete at home in Leverone Field house is always fun. We had some strong performances and knocked off the rust from winter break. Overall, it was a solid start to 2025 and we look forward to hosting again next Saturday as Columbia and Yale come to Hanover. Go Big Green!" Marjorie & Herbert Chase '30 Director of Dartmouth Track & Field and Cross Country Mike Nelson said.
Dartmouth won both 60m dashes, with Chayse Raymond running an 8.01 and Bryce Thomas clocking a final time of 6.83.
The Big Green also swept the 60m hurdles. Jack Inglis and Mariella Schweitzer ran 8.50 and 8.48, respectively.
Maya Grudman placed first in the women's pole vault, clearing 3.50m. For the throwing events, Colton McMaster won both the men's shot put and weight throw.
