HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth men's tennis defeated Le Moyne on Sunday. The Big Green won 7-0 to improve to 3-0 this season.
Doubles
Alex Knox-Jones and Hikaru Takeda played second doubles on Sunday and defeated their opponents 6-1.
Miles Groom and Yujiro Onuma played in third doubles together. The duo won 6-1 as the Big Green took the doubles point.
Henry Ren and Waleed Qadir played in first doubles but the match was called due to the doubles point already being secured.
Singles
Takeda played in first singles for the Big Green. He won the first set 6-4 and secured the sweep with a 7-5 win in the second set.
Ren was slotted in second singles, the first set went Ren's way with a 6-2 win. In the second set he won 6-1 to earn the win for the Big Green.
Knox-Jones moved into the third singles position on Sunday. He won the opening set 6-3 and then completed the sweep with a 6-2 win.
Groom played in fourth singles on Sunday and completed a two set sweep. He won the first set 6-2, he closed out the match with a 6-3 win in the second set.
Qadir was slotted in fifth singles for the Big Green, he won in straight sets. He took the first set 6-4 before completing the sweep with a 6-3 win in the second set.
Zihao Yuan played his first match of the spring for the Big Green. He won the first set 6-1 in sixth singles before closing out the match with a 6-0 win in the second set.
The Big Green travel to Indiana next weekend for a pair of matches. On Saturday, Feb. 1 Dartmouth takes on Indiana before taking on Butler the next day.
