PRINCETON, N.J. – On Wednesday, the Ivy League announced its women's hockey All-Ivy honorees, recognizing five members of the Big Green.
Lauren Messier, Michaela Hesová,
Laura Fuoco,
Kenzie Bachelor, and
Cally Dixon all earned postseason honors.

Senior captain Messier and first-year goaltender Hesová were both named to the Second Team.

Messier played in every game this season for the Big Green scoring eight goals and tallying nine assists for 17 total points to lead the team. She tallied two game winning goals, including the overtime winner at Harvard. Messier was also dominant at the faceoff dot for the Big Green, winning 338 faceoffs, ranking her fourth in ECAC Hockey and 20
th in the nation.

Hesová played in 28 of the Big Green's 29 games as a first-year, posting a 2.56 goals against average and a .922 save percentage. She also tallied 848 saves, setting a new program record for most saves in a season. Hesová helped the Big Green on a 4-0-3 stretch to begin the second half of the season making 142 saves and allowing only seven goals for a .953 save percentage. She also led the team to a 2-0 win over No. 7 St. Lawrence, posting a 36 save shutout.

Fuoco and Bachelor were each named All-Ivy Honorable Mentions. Fuoco scored eight goals and eight assists this season for the Big Green, matching her career high goals total and finishing second overall on the team in points (16). She factored into every goal the Big Green scored at Clarkson, had a four-point night at St. Anselm, and scored two goals in the Big Green's 2-2 tie with No. 6 Cornell.

Bachelor has been a mainstay on the blue line for the Big Green, leading all defenders with ten total points this season. Her four goals also lead all blue liners. She had two multi-point games this season, a goal and an assist in the overtime win at Harvard, and two assists in the tie with No. 6 Cornell. In addition to her offensive contribution, she also led the team in blocked shots, tallying 51. This is the second straight year Bachelor has led the team in blocks.

Finally, Dixon is the Big Green's Academic All-Ivy honoree, a history major, being recognized for her contributions both on the ice and in the classroom. She played in every game this season, scoring seven goals and adding four assists for 11 total points. Dixon had a two-goal outing at St. Anselm as well as scored the game winning goal against Union, both games a part of a 4-0-3 run for the Big Green.
