HANOVER, N.H. — For their success in the classroom and on the court, four members of the Dartmouth women's basketball team have earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Alexandra Eldredge,
Cate MacDonald,
Clare Meyer and
Nina Minicozzi were all recognized.
The four honorees marks the most in program history.
To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at her current institution.
Eldredge started in all 24 games she played, averaging 6.1 points and 2.6 rebounds. MacDonald was a key contributor off the bench, playing in 25 games while averaging 4.2 points and 4.0 rebounds. Meyer started all 27 games, finishing third on the team in scoring (6.7) and second in rebounding (4.8). Minicozzi played in all 27 games, starting three times, while posting 4.7 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest.
