SPRINGFIELD, Pa. –
Tyler Brand tied for a first-place finish and led the Dartmouth men's golf team to a third-place finish at the Columbia Spring Invitational on Monday from Rolling Green Country Club. The Yale Bulldogs took first, Arkansas came in second and the Big Green rounded out the top three shooting a +24 on the day.
Brand shot a 70 in the first round, even par, and followed that with a 69 (-1) to shoot a -1 to finish a great day out on the course.
Alex Gu finished tied for 10
th after shooting a 74 (+4) and 72 (+2) on the day.
Eli Kimche shot a 70 (+8) followed by a 71 (+1) to finish tied for 26
th.
Aaron Zhang was close behind him after shooting a 75 (+5) and a 76 (+6).
Colin Keith, who played as an independent, rounded out the day tied for 53
rd after shooting a 76 (+6) and 79 (+9).
Ian Davis also found himself tied for 53
rd with score of 80 (+10) and 75 (+5).
The Big Green are back on the course when they travel to Princeton, N.J. on Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13 to compete in the Princeton Invitational.
