KINGSTON, N.Y. –
Tyler Brand tied for first, his third first place finish this season, as the Dartmouth men's golf team placed third at the Roar-EE Invitational hosted by Columbia in Kingston, N.Y. St. Thomas Aquinas won the invitational shooting a +2 and Lafayette College placed second with a +4 on the day. The Big Green rounded out the top three after shooting a +5 on the day.
Brand shot an incredible 66 (-6) in the first round and 72, even par, in the second round for a -6 on the day to tie for first.
Eli Kimche was right behind him tied for third. He shot a 70 (-2) and even par in the second for a -2 on the day.
Colin Keith tied for 14
th after shooting a 74 (+2) and a 73 (+1) for a +3 on the day.
Finlay Szafnauer, who played as an individual, shot a 76 (+4) and a 78 (+6) for a +10 to place tied for 46
th.
Aaron Zhang placed tied for 50
th after shooting a 76 (+4) and a 79 (+7) for a +11 on the day.
Alex Gu also tied for 50
th with a 75 (+3) and an 80 (+8).
Ian Davis, who also played as an individual, tied for 53
rd shooting 78 (+6) in both rounds for a total of +12.
Cameron Keith, the final individual Dartmouth golfer, placed tied for 64
th with an 80 (+8) and an 82 (+10) for a +18 on the day.
