AUSTIN, Texas—College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the Academic All-District teams for women's tennis on Tuesday. Four members of the Big Green earned the honor, Peyton Capuano, Michela Moore, Brooke Hess, and Elizabeth Fahrmeier all earned the honor.
Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, be a sophomore, junior, or senior, and must have played in 70 percent of team scored matches while also being in good academic standing.
It is the second straight season that Fahrmeier and Hess have earned the honor.
Capuano recently completed her sophomore season in which she earned All-Ivy First Team in both singles and doubles after a 9-9 spring season. She went 3-1 in Ivy League played in the first singles position while her and Moore had a 15-4 overall doubles record and a 4-2 doubles record.
Moore closed out her second season with an All-Ivy Second Team honor in singles and an All-Ivy First Team honor in doubles. Moore had a team best 12 singles wins while having three wins in Ivy League play.
Hess had a 3-5 singles record as a junior while notching a 7-9 record in doubles play. She went 1-0 in second doubles while winning six matches in third doubles.
Fahrmeier earned Academic All-Ivy this season while winning three wins in dual matches. The senior had an 8-7 doubles record with seven of the wins coming in second doubles.
