Dartmouth sailing competed in 13 races Wednesday, jumping to fifth place to advance to the Championship round of the Women's Fleet Race National Championship.
Ten of the Big Green's races across both divisions were top ten finishing positions, helping Dartmouth move from seventh to fifth place overall.
The day started with a seventh-place finishing position in the B Division, followed by a second-place finishing position in the fourth A Division race to start racing off strong.
The Big Green then went on to earn first place in the fifth A Division race, beginning their steady climb up the standings. Dartmouth then went on to finish in the top ten in seven straight races, four of which were top five finishes, to put them in fifth.
