Women's Squash Defeats Williams In Home Finale

HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth women's squash earned a dominate 8-1 win over Williams on Wednesday in the final home match of 2025-26.

Four of Dartmouth's eight points were won by sweeps as Maria Clara Ramirez, Xiang Xiang Liu, Ellie Clifford, and Kriti Muthu each won 3-0.

Ramirez dominated the first game 11-3 and then edged out an 11-9 win in the second game. In the third game she closed the match by winning 11-7.

Liu won her first game 11-6 and then secured an 11-9 win in the second game. She took the match by winning the third game 11-5.

Clifford outscored her opponent 22-9 in the first two games (11-5, 11-4) before closing out the match 11-8 in the third game.

Muthu allowed just six points in the first game as she won 11-6, she then dominated the second game 11-2 to take a 2-0 lead. She won the match with an 11-8 win in the third game.

May Shroff, Nathalie Taylor, Uma Patnaik, and Zayna Usman all earned 3-1 wins in their respective matches.

Shroff won the first two games 11-8 and 11-9 but fell 11-8 in the third game. She won the match in the fourth set by winning 11-6.

Taylor also took the first two games of her match and fell 14-12 in the third game. She responded with an 11-2 win in the fourth game.

Patnaik fell 11-8 in the first game but responded with three straight wins. She won the second game 11-3, third game 11-7, and fourth game 11-8.

Usman lost the opening game 11-3 but responded with an 11-7 win in the second game. She then won 12-10 in the third game and won the match with an 11-8 win in the fourth game.

The Big Green sit at 6-6 this season with two matches remaining in the regular season. Dartmouth faces Princeton in New Jersey on Saturday, Feb. 14 and Penn on Sunday, Feb. 15. Both matches are set to start at 12 PM.
