HANOVER, N.H.—John Steel Hagenbuch of Dartmouth skiing and Olivia Cong of Dartmouth women's golf have been named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.

John Steel Hagenbuch, Sr., Ketchum, Idaho, Nordic Skiing
John Steel Hagenbuch was dominant during the Big Green's EISA Championship this past weekend, coming off his first Olympic appearance representing Team USA. Hagenbuch opened the weekend with a win in the 7.5K classic race, crossing the finish line 1:05 faster than the second- place finisher. He followed with a win in the 20K freestyle by a margin of 1:55. Hagenbuch led the Big Green men to podium sweeps in both events and the 2026 EISA Championship, the second straight for the Big Green. With the two wins this weekend, Hagenbuch finished the 2026 EISA season with three overall wins and was named an All-East First Team honoree.
Olivia Cong, So., Germantown, Md., Women's Golf
Oliva Cong opened the spring season on top for the Big Green. The sophomore tied for first at the Space Coast Classic presented by MoonGolf with a final score of -6. She opened the tournament with a +3 75 with a pair of birdies. Later in the day in the second round she played nearly perfect as she shot a 66 to finish -6. Her second round featured seven birdies. She closed the tournament by shooting a -3 69 in the third and final round.
