HANOVER, N.H. – Following the Middlebury Carnival and EISA Championship last weekend, the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) announced its All-East teams and discipline leaders, recognizing 13 members of the Big Green.

Dartmouth won the Middlebury Carnival with 982.5 points, marking its second straight EISA Championship. The Big Green posted the most points in each discipline across five of the eight races.

Ava Thurston and
John Steel Hagenbuch on the Nordic side and Zoe Zimmerman,
Emma Resnick,
Oscar Zimmer and
Heming Sola for alpine were all named to the All-East First Team.

Ava Thurston was dominant on both the classic and skate side this season. Across her 11 total races, Thurston won seven. To open the season at the St. Lawrence Carnival, she won both the freestyle sprint and classic 10K. She finished on the podium in all but one skate race, posting two overall victories.

Thurston competed in five classic races this season, securing the victory in each one, also being named classic discipline leader for posting the most EISA points in the discipline across the season.

John Steel Hagenbuch also earned First-Team All-East recognition on the Nordic side. Hagenbuch, who just returned from representing Team USA at the 2026 Olympics, won both races at the Middlebury Carnival He won the 20K skate by 1:55 followed by a 1:05 margin of victory in the 7.5K classic. Hagenbuch also competed in Dartmouth's first race of the season, winning the 10K classic race at St. Lawrence.

The Big Green had two female alpine skiers named First-Team All-East,
Zoe Zimmermann and
Emma Resnick.

Zimmermann impressed on the slalom circuit this season, earning wins in four of the six races. Despite opening the season with a DNF, the senior placed second at St. Lawrence before winning the next four straight slalom events. Her four wins also named her the slalom discipline leader.

Zimmermann also raced every giant slalom event, posting a season high sixth place finish on her home slope at the Dartmouth Carnival.

Resnick was consistent in both slalom and giant slalom races all season. On the slalom, Resnick earned two top-10 finishes, including her highest finish at the Williams Carnival, earning third overall.

On the giant slalom, Resnick earned top-10 finishes in each race. She earned her first podium finish of the season at the Dartmouth Carnival and The Skiway, placing third overall. Two carnivals later, Resnick secured her first win of her collegiate career at Williams. She also landed a podium finish in the EISA Championship.

On the men's side,
Oscar Zimmer and
Heming Sola led the way, each claiming First-Team All-East honors.
Â
Zimmer dominated all season, posting podium finishes in nine of his 12 races. Zimmer landed a spot on the podium in each of his slalom races, including tallying three overall wins.

On the giant slalom, Zimmer posted three podium finishes including one overall win at Williams.
Â
His consistency across both disciplines earned Zimmer recognition as the highest point scorer in both the slalom and giant slalom across the entire season.

Heming Sola also impressed, capturing top-10 finishes in nine of his 12 races. He posted back-to-back second place finishes on the slalom to wrap the season at the Williams and Middlebury Carnivals.

On the giant slalom, Sola posted his highest finish at Williams, claiming second overall.

The Big Green also had seven skiers named to the All-East Second Team. Nordic skiers
Evie Walton,
Amelia Tucker and
Cooper Camp as well as alpine skiers
Carly Elsinger,
Sawyer Reed,
Calum Langmuir, and
Dan Gillis took home the honors.

Evie Walton finished in the top-10 in all but one race this season. Her best freestyle finish was sixth overall, accomplishing the feat in both the Williams 15K and the Middlebury 20K.

In classic races, Walton's best finish was first overall, as she won the 3x5k Classic relay at Williams alongside Thurston and Tucker. Her best individual finish across both disciplines was third in the Middlebury 7.5K.

Amelia Tucker posted top-10 finishes in seven of her 12 races, highlighted by the relay win at Williams. Her best classic finish landed her just off the podium, earning fourth overall in the UVM Classic sprint.

On the freestyle side, Tucker's best finish was fifth at the Middlebury 20K, helping Dartmouth to its second straight EISA Championship.

Carly Elsinger was the lone women's alpine skier named to the All-East Second Team. Elsinger raced to top-10 finishes in 10 of her 12 total races. Elsinger was consistent on the slalom, earning her highest slalom finish of the season to open the year at Colby, placing fifth overall.

On the giant slalom, Elsinger finished in the top five four times, snagging one podium finish. The senior placed second overall at the UVM Carnival.

On the men's side,
Sawyer Reed,
Calum Langmuir, and
Dan Gillis were each named to the second team.
Â
Reed impressed in his first season with the Big Green. He posted his best slalom finish at St. Lawrence, claiming eighth overall.

On the giant slalom, Reed opened the year with three straight top-10 finishes, including a season best second place finish, also at St. Lawrence.

Calum Langmuir jumped onto the scene thanks to a first place finish on the slalom at the Dartmouth Carnival, his first race of the year. He followed with two additional top-five finishes at UVM, claiming a podium spot, and Middlebury. Langmuir also raced in two giant slalom races.

Dan Gillis also impressed, especially on the giant slalom. Gillis opened the season with a second place finish at the Colby Carnival before adding two more top-ten finishes through the rest of the season (9
th at Dartmouth, 7
th at Middlebury).

Gillis also posted three top-15 finishes on the slalom, posting a ninth place finish at the EISA Championship for his highest slalom finish of the season.

With the EISA circuit concluded, the Big Green will now shift their focus to the NCAA Championship, now being hosted in Utah. More information on the 2026 NCAA Team and results from the championship will be available on DartmouthSports.com.
