HANOVER, N.H. - On Tuesday, the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) announced its skiers of the week, recognizing
Zoe Zimmermann as the Women's Alpine Skier of the Week.
Zimmermann took home the honor after winning the slalom on her home course at the Dartmouth Carnival. She posted a time of 1:44.48 to win her first race of the 2026 EISA Carnival season.
She completed the first run in 49.21 seconds, the fastest time of the field. Zimmermann's second run time of 55.27 seconds was third best, just one one-hundredth of a second behind the second-best time.
Zimmermann also finished the giant slalom in the top ten, posting a sixth-place finish with a total time of 2:02.01. Her sixth place finish this past weekend is her highest on the GS this season.
Zimmermann and the rest of the Big Green alpine and Nordic teams will continue EISA competition this weekend at the Vermont Carnival. Alpine races will begin with the giant slalom on Thursday, February 5 and conclude with the slalom on Friday, February 6.
Nordic races will be on Friday, February 6 and Saturday, February 7 as originally scheduled.
