The Big Green opened the scoring at the 9:24 mark of the opening frame. Hadyen Stavroff skated the puck deep into the Harvard zone and fired a shot towards the net from the right circle. The shot was turned away but Nikita Nikora drove the net and found the loose puck and buried his fifth goal of the season. Less than two minutes later, Harvard tied the game at one.

The tie game lasted just 2:03 into the second period. As a power play was coming to an end, the Big Green won a battle on the half wall and Andrew Clarke fed a pass to the point to Cooper Cleaves. C. Cleaves found Matt Fusco across from him and fired him a pass. Fusco moved to the top of the circle and picked the top right corner of the net for his third goal of the season. C. Cleaves notched his fifth assist while it was Clarke's eighth.
Dartmouth held onto the lead for the rest of the second period while also outshooting Harvard 9-5 in the second frame.
At the exact midway point of the third period, the Big Green added an insurance goal. Alex Krause picked up a loose puck behind the net after Grable played the puck behind the net. Krause skated to the half wall and curled back towards the net. He saw Austin Salani in the low slot and fired pass towards him. Salani got his stick on it and redirected it home for his first collegiate goal. Dartmouth took a 3-1 lead as Krause picked up his fifth assist of the year and Grable picked up his 11th assist.
Harvard tallied 10 shots in the third period, but Emmett Croteau was perfect in the third to secure the 3-1 win. He made 21 saves as he notched his 10th win of the season. He improved his goals against average to 1.71 while his save percentage is now .930. He leads the ECAC in both categories.
