HANOVER, N.H. – The Dartmouth men's basketball team fell 71-58 to Harvard on Saturday at Leede Arena, splitting the season series 1-1.
Jayden Williams led the Big Green offense with 19 points, including four three pointers and a 43.8 field goal percentage. Brandon Mitchell-Day had a 14 point, 13 rebound double-double, marking his league leading sixth double-double of the season. Connor Amundsen led the team in assists with three, while scoring nine points of his own.

First Half:
Harvard jumped out to a 7-2 lead, one it wouldn't surrender for the rest of the game, with two layups by Chandler Pigge and a three pointer by Thomas Batties II.
Williams brought the game within two with a three pointer and a layup before the Crimson extended their lead to 11-5. A minute later, Harvard gained its largest lead of the half when Pigge brought the score to 15-8 with a layup.
In the last five minutes of the half, the Big Green began applying pressure to the Crimson, coming within one point of tying the game three times before two made free throws and a layup out Harvard at 32 points. Amundsen cut the deficit to two when he hit a three pointer, sending the game into halftime.
Second Half:
The Crimson began the second half in a similar way, going on a 10-3 run to bring the score to 42-33.
With under seven minutes left in the game, Kareem Thomas began chipping away at the deficit, going on a 5-0 run to bring the Big Green within seven points of tying the score.
The Crimson continued building onto their lead, gaining a 15 point control of the game with just under two minutes left. A made layup by Mitchell-Day brought the final score to 71-58.
