Women's Squash Earns Senior Day Win Over Tufts

HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth women's squash earned its fifth win of the season on Sunday at Berry Squash Courts. The Big Green edged out Tufts 5-4 for the win.

Xiang Xiang Liu and Nathalie Taylor each picked up 3-0 wins for the Big Green. Liu won her match 11-7, 11-6, 11-9 in the second position. Taylor notched her fifth win of the season with an 11-5, 11-4, 11-7 win in the sixth position.

Kriti Muthu and Callie Worth each picked up 3-1 wins in the seventh and eighth positions. Muthu took the first two games before falling 11-7 in the third. She won the match with an 11-5 win in the fourth game. Worth won the opening game 11-9 but fell 11-9 in the second game, she edged out 11-9 and 12-10 wins to take the match.

Ellie Clifford's third position match went all five games after the two split the first two games. Clifford won the third game but fell 11-6 in the fourth game. She dominated the fifth game and won 11-2 to take the match.

Prior to the match, the Big Green honored Worth and Maria Clara Ramirez for their four years with Dartmouth.

The Big Green close out the home portion of their schedule on Wednesday, Feb. 11 against Williams at 5:30 PM. Dartmouth then heads to Princeton and Penn on Feb. 14 and Feb. 15 to close out the regular season.
