NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams delivered strong performances at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships, highlighted by an Ivy League title for Noe Kemper and multiple scoring finishes across both squads at The Armory.
On the men's side, Kemper led the way with a dominant victory in the 800m, capturing the Ivy League title in 1:49.60 to score 10 points for the Big Green. Liam Murray added a fourth-place finish in the 400m (47.05), while Connor Foley placed fifth in the 1000m with a personal-best 2:22.69. Callahan Fielder also scored in the mile, finishing sixth in 4:06.15.
In the field events, Max Klein delivered a standout performance in the shot put, finishing second with a throw of 18.13m. Roy Leibovitz matched that finish in the triple jump with a runner-up mark of 15.54m. Colton McMaster contributed across the throws, placing fourth in the weight throw (20.08m) and sixth in the shot put (17.53m).
The men also found success in the relays, highlighted by a third-place finish in the distance medley relay. Fielder, Murray, Foley and Kemper combined for a time of 9:48.08. The men's 4x400 and 4x800 relay teams each placed sixth with times of 3:13.98 and 7:38.55.
On the women's side, Esme Daplyn led the Big Green with a podium finish in the 1000m, placing third with a personal-best 2:47.91 to score six points. Mariella Schweitzer placed fifth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.56.
Zaneta Pivcova contributed in the throws with a fifth-place finish in the shot put (14.70m). The women's relay teams also added valuable points, with the 4x400 relay placing fifth in 3:42.48, a season-best performance, while the 4x800 relay also finished fifth in 8:54.39.
