CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – On Saturday, the Dartmouth lightweight rowing team raced on the Charles, competing against the Harvard Crimson.
The Big Green competed in three races, kicking off the day with the Varsity 4 race. Luke Olson, Theo Engleman, Gil Cavalieros and Tagg Clark combined for a time of 7:19.910, just over a second behind the Crimson. Dartmouth did defeat Harvard's B boat by over a minute.
The 2V race was next, as the Big Green rowed to a second place overall finish, posting a time of 6:31.465.
The day wrapped with the 1V race. Dartmouth's A boat finished in 6:16.783.
The lightweight team will be back in action this upcoming weekend, returning to Hanover to race against Yale.
