Big Green Tied For Fifth After Day One Of Ivy Championship

SPRINGFIELD, N.J.—Dartmouth women's golf sits tied for fifth after the first day of the Ivy League Championship. The Big Green are +23 after the first round with Hope Hall and Sophia Li leading Dartmouth at +5.

Hall shot a +5 77 in the opening with a trio of birdies. She birdied the eighth, 15^th, and 18^th holes. On the back nine she shaved off three strokes as she finished the back with a 37.

Li opened her first Ivy League Championship by shooting a +5 77 while she sits tied for 17^th. She rolled in just one birdie on the day as she birdied the par four fifth hole. She closed out the round by paring the last four holes.

Claire Wan finished her first Ivy League Championship with a +6 78 as she is in 20th. She notched 13 pars on the day including six of the last seven holes.

Sophie Thai kicked off her final Ivy League Championship with a +7 79. She tallied 10 pars while birding the par five seventh hole and the par five 17^th hole.

Allisa Xu was just one stroke back of Thai she shot a +8 80 in the opening round. She rolled in eight pars along with a birdie on the par three 16^th hole.

Olivia Cong sits tied with Xu 28^th at +8. She started the round with seven straight pars. She finished with a 39 on the front nine. The second round saw four pars as she finished with a 41 on the back.

The Big Green kick off the second round on Saturday, April 25 as the teams are expected to battle weather. The first tee time is set for 8 AM.
