HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth men's soccer will host No. 18 Princeton on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 6 p.m., as part of Family Weekend at Dartmouth College. Saturday's match marks the opening Ivy League contest for both teams.
Last Time Out
The Big Green defeated No. 18 Vermont, 3-1, on their home field in front of 1,397 fans. The win over a ranked opponent was Dartmouth's first since the 2016 season and its first over a top 20 nationally ranked team since 2015. Dartmouth handed Vermont its first regular-season loss since the 2024 season. The three goals were the most Dartmouth has scored in any game this season and the most Vermont has allowed all year.
Family Weekend
Family Weekend festivities continue at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, when the Big Green host Princeton, with special offers available to all parents in town for the weekend.
Among the Ivy League Leaders
TJ Jeffreys continues to impress in goal through six matches this season. Jeffreys ranks third in the conference in goals-against average (.83) and total saves (18), and is tied for third with two shutouts.
Trenton Blake recorded two assists against Vermont, moving him into the conference's top 10 in assists this season.
Scouting No. 18 Princeton
Princeton was ranked No. 11 nationally last week and fell to No. 18 this week after playing to a scoreless draw against Seton Hill. The Tigers have lost just once this season, falling 2-0 to Rutgers. Longtime Princeton manager Jim Barlow returns to the sideline for his 30th season, bringing a career record of 237-190-72 into 2026. Barlow's roster includes standout goalkeeper Andrew Samuels, who has twice been named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week this season and ranks among the conference leaders in goalkeeping statistics.

Princeton leads the all-time series, 42-25-9. A win this weekend would bring Dartmouth's home record back to .500, currently 17-18-2. Dartmouth and Princeton have met every season since 1955-56, aside from the canceled 2020 season due to COVID-19.
