Bio
Why Dartmouth?
The real question is "Why not Dartmouth?"! I love Dartmouth and what sold me on it was the people. Everyone is so friendly here and the team is the best group of girls. Having been on campus for a term I now call it home.
How long have you been rowing and what interested you about rowing?
Growing up next to the University of Washington, I have watched the Opening Day regatta every year for as long as I can remember and loved it! I didn't start rowing until my sophomore year of high school and rowed for Pocock Rowing Center in Seattle coached by Steve Dani.
What is something about you that might come as a surprise to your
teammates?
I don't think that any of them know that I worked in Alaska for six weeks this summer on a commercial fishing boat.
What extracurricular activities are you involved in on campus?
Now that I am pretty settled in I am hoping to join the club squash team and definitely doing some Dartmouth Outing Club trips.
What are your future plans, if any?
There are so many opportunities that I am interested in here at Dartmouth that it will be my challenge to narrow down my pursuits for the future. As of now I am thinking something in the sciences.
