Kate is looking forward to her first year with the Dartmouth Alpine Ski Team. After working with some of the athletes in Chile this summer, she eagerly anticipates the upcoming season. Skiing has been a part of Kate’s life from an early age. She grew up racing in New Hampshire, then moving to Utah and Colorado later in her career. She raced at both the national and international level. After Graduating from the University of Vermont in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in History, a coaching opportunity in the west renewed her passion for the sport. For the last two years, Kate has been coaching in New Hampshire at the U16 and FIS level. Kate is certified in the Burdenko Method and has 20 years experience in water and on land for recovery and rehabilitation. Kate will also be joining the Dartmouth Peak Performance staff and is excited to help assist Big Green athletes with their pursuit of excellence. Kate lives in East Thetford, Vt., with her black lab Gracie.
