Second-Team All-America (2025 Giant Slalom)
JUNIOR (2025)
Raced at every EISA Carnival and In the 2025 NCAA Championship... Best giant slalom finish was fourth at UNH while best slalom finish was two fifth place finishes at St. Lawrence and St. Michael's... Earned eight total top-ten finishes in EISA races... Named Second-Team All-America for sixth place finish on giant slalom at 2025 National Championship... Finished tied for 22nd on the slalom at the National Championship.
SOPHOMORE (2024)
Won the men's slalom at the Harvard Carnival to push the Big Green into second place and earn his first win of the EISA circuit ... Earned back to back third place finishes in the slalom, including one at the EISA Championship ... Also competed at the NCAA Championship.
FIRST-YEAR (2023)
Competed in every EISA carnival race as a rookie … scored points for the Big Green total in both of his top-10 finishes … tied for fifth in the slalom at Harvard for his best performance … wrapped up the season by claiming seventh in the slalom at the EISA Championships hosted by St. Lawrence.

Full name is Daniel Evan Gillis ... born July 28, 2002 in New Haven, Connecticut ... son of Edward and Linda Gillis ... his father graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1988 and was on the Alpine skiing team and his brother, Robert Gillis is currently on the Alpine skiing team at Bates College ... enjoys biking, running and lifting.
