Named to Academic All-America Second Team, the first Big Green player to earn the honor in five years … also named an FCS ADA Academic All-Star and to the Academic All-Ivy League Team in the fall … recipient of the team’s Manners Makyth Man Award as the varsity football player, selected by his teammates, who has best conducted himself to the advantage of the College in the sense of William Wykeham's phrase … played in all 10 games at linebacker, starting eight, and ranked third on the team with 51 tackles (undoubtedly to honor his teammate Jack Traynor who wears No. 51) … made at least two stops in every game … played primarily on special teams for the first two contests with four tackles on kickoff coverages … forced his way into his linebacking slot with eight tackles in the 34-14 win at Holy Cross … third-down stop a yard shy of the marker against Sacred Heart led to a turnover on downs and Dartmouth’s second score in a 42-0 romp … provided two more big stops on third down that forced punts at Columbia, the second of which produced a touchdown early in the fourth quarter to boost the Big Green lead to 15 in an eventual 28-12 triumph … most crucial performance may have been against Harvard with seven stops, including 1.5 for a loss and a forced fumble on a kickoff return … racked up a career-high 11 tackles in the 35-24 road win at Cornell, one for a two-yard loss on a pass … ended career with four assisted tackles in a 49-7 blowout win over Brown.

Recipient of the team’s Charles “Stubby” Pearson ’42 Award as the underclassman on the football team whose character, leadership on campus, high academic standing and performance on the playing field most resembles that of the award’s namesake … appeared in eight games, making a total of 11 tackles with 1.5 going for a loss … varsity debut featured a season-high four stops, including a half-sack, against Stetson in the season opener … missed the next two games before playing in each of the final seven contests … had three tackles, two on kickoff coverages, in the 29-26 win at Sacred Heart … one of two tackles against Cornell went for a loss.

Spent the season working with the jayvees … recorded four tackles in the 42-0 junior varisty win over Norwich.
FRESHMAN (2015)
Worked with the junior varsity … collected four tackles in the 35-3 jayvee win over Middlebury.
HIGH SCHOOL
Washington Class 3A all-state first-team linebacker … posted 103 tackles including 12.5 for a loss … returned two of his three interceptions for touchdowns … All-USA Western Washington selection … All-King County first team as a senior … two-time captain … also captained basketball team … threw shot, sprinted, ran on 4x100 relay and jumped for the Mercer Island track team … won the shot put at the 3A Kingco Championships.
