Q&A With Meaghan Haugh
Why Dartmouth?
My mum went to Dartmouth and I live in New Hampshire so it was a childhood dream. When it actually came time to apply and choose a college Dartmouth was an obvious choice. At Dartmouth, everyone seemed happy, and they loved their school. I love the sense of community Dartmouth has, and Hanover in the fall doesn't hurt.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
I can't swim and am terrified of the water. Since freshman year I have learned how to swim.
I used to ski race until I was in 10th grade and still love to go to the Dartmouth skiway.
What activities are you involved in outside of Equestrian?
I am on the executive board of Smart Women Securities. I am a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and live in the house.
What are your future plans?
After graduation I hope to pursue a career where I can apply the mathematics I have learned to real life. I am excited for my winter off term internship and look forward to living in a city.
