A two-year starter and former All-America goalkeeper at Syracuse University, Betsy Wagner enters her second season with the Big Green.

Wagner brings plenty of coaching experience to Dartmouth. She worked Syracuse field hockey camps from 2001-04, where she served as assistant goalkeeping coach.

Wagner served as head goalkeeping coach at camps in Colorado for Nike (2001), the University of Denver (2003) and Colorado Academy (2003). She worked with goalkeepers at Premiere Field Hockey camps in Elizabethtown, Pa., in 2003 and 2004 and worked with Team Colorado in 2003.

As a senior last fall for the Orange, Wagner was a second team All-America selection after being selected BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year and to the All-BIG EAST First Team. She was one of two keepers chosen to represent the North Squad in the STX/NFHCA North/South Senior All-Star game. She was also named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star for the fourth time.

Wagner played every second in goal as a junior while also serving as team captain. She was named to the fall and spring Athletic Director's Honor Rolls after placing on the honor roll in spring 2001.

Wagner completed her career with a 21-19 record and eight shutouts after posting a 1.68 GAA and .777 save percentage.

A native of Cherry Hills, Colo., Wagner graduated from Syracuse in December 2004 with a degree in consumer studies.
