A hard-luck quarterback who has seen two seasons shortened by hand injuries...Completed 9-of-15 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown and ran three times for 28 yards and another touchdown in the Green-White scrimmage last spring...Ability to tuck the ball and run makes him an intriguing prospect... 2005: Was battling for backup role last year when he hit his thumb on a helmet while passing during a scrimmage one week before last fall's opener and was lost for the season. High School: First team All-District and third in the 5A greater Houston area with 1,670 yards passing as senior...Selected team MVP...Chosen to 5A all-state scholastic second team...Won three letters in football and captained team as a senior.
