Why Dartmouth: The academics were absolutely amazing, and I loved the environment. I felt at home when I visited, and still feel that way today.
How long have you been riding: I have ridden for 10 years.
How did you become interested in riding: I always loved animals and horses in particular. My neighbor and my cousin both rode horses, and I thought it was the most amazing sport. I spent months trying to convince my mom to let me take a riding lesson. After that first lesson there was no turning back!
Something that may come as a surprise to your teammates: I am very terrified of birds. When I was little, I was cleaning my parakeet's cage, and it got out. I ran into my closet to get away from it, but it followed me in. I have not been fond of birds since. Future plans: I am a government and religion double major. I'm not totally sure what I want to do after college, but I would be interested in pursuing a career somewhere within international relations.
