Q and A with RocheleWhy Dartmouth?
I chose Dartmouth because of all the places I visited it was where I felt the most at home. It also had my favorite riding program of all the schools that I was considering.
How long have you been riding and what got you interested in riding?
I have been riding since I was seven. Mostly, I think I really wanted to ride so I could more effectively pretend to be one of King Arthur's knights.
Tell me something interesting about you that might come as a surprise to your teammates.
When I was small, I used to hunt lizards in my backyard and hang them from my ears like earrings.
What activities are you involved in outside of Equestrian?
Mostly, I write my thesis, but I am also involved in Cabin and Trail and I like to go for long runs when it isn't too cold out
What are your future plans?
I am hoping to get a job, internship, or fellowship for a year or two before heading to graduate school in a yet-to-be-determined subject area.
